WHEN TO CHOOSE REVISION FACELIFT SURGERY

The purpose of a Revision Facelift surgery is to correct problems resulting from a previous facelift surgery that was disappointing and wasn’t aging well, and also to “freshen” a traditional facelift you had several years that you were pleased with. Dr. Petro can help you decide if it is right for you.

HOW IT’S DONE

Dr. Petro will use either general or local anesthesia and IV sedation. After marking your face, incisions are made and well hidden, and she works through these to: tighten and lift muscles, remove excess skin, remove or redistribute excess fat (fat sculpting) to restore facial contours.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER FACELIFT SURGERY

Swelling, bruising, numbness and discomfort are normal and to be expected. Dr. Petro’s techniques help to minimize these, but plan on 1 to 2 weeks before returning to normal. Oral pain medication easily manages any discomfort you feel.
