November 10, 2011. I had considered a breast augmentation for about a year before meeting with Dr. Petro. There were several other surgeons I considered, however, Dr. Petro and her staff stood out by the way everyone worked together, the office setting was comfortable and inviting, and I felt cared for. My experience with Dr. Petro and her staff was amazing. My mom was new to town, so I made an appointment for her to go in for botox treatment. Dr. Petro was very knowledgeable about the procedure and wanted to make sure my mom got exactly what she wanted. The process was so quick and my mom has never been happier with the end results of her botox. After listening to Dr. Petro take the time to talk with my mom and make sure she knew exactly what she wanted I decided to ask her about breast augmentation. I have been thinking about it for over a year and have not felt comfortable when talking to anyone about it. She took the time to sit down with me one on one and explained everything. Dr.Petro was very concerned with what the end result would be and informing me of everything that would happen. I ended up leaving with an appointment for breast augmentation! The day of surgery was easy and convenient. I went right in her office and her staff was efficient and comforting. Words truly cannot justify the amazing artistry and talent of Dr. Petro. Not only did she make me feel as if I were her only patient, but my body has been transformed along with my self confidence! She is undoubtably an incredible asset to plastic surgeons, but I would rank her at the very top.

Prior to chemotherapy, my face had a smooth texture to it. Afterwards, it seemed all the elasticity and the smoothness that once existed was gone. After Dr. Petro examined my skin, she assured me that if I would have my face resurfaced, I would have a lot of the elasticity return and that my face would have a fresher and smoother appearance. When I felt less attractive, Dr. Petro made me feel beautiful. She was compassionate about the procedure and I have never experienced someone with so much empathy for their patients. Dr. Petro explained in full detail how I would look immediately after the procedure and was adamant about how to care for my skin during the recovery. I remember blow drying my hair prior to the resurfacing and feeling my face drop to the floor. After the procedure, my face did not "move" But more importantly, my face looked natural. I did not have a "plastic" look. My lines were virtually gone from around my mouth and the sagging jaw line was lifted. The sun damage and the effects of the chemotherapy had left my skin dry and splotchy. The resurfacing made my skin smooth and removed the damaged skin. It took about 2 weeks for the procedure to "cure" and my skin to return to its state 10-15 years earlier. I would recommend the procedure to anyone and would also trust Dr. Petro to recommend the best procedure for me. She explained that I was not ready for a facelift but that the resurfacing would allow me to shine. When I felt like I was not as pretty or felt old, Dr. Petro restore my face to a more youthful appearance and less fatigued. I thank Dr. Petro for giving me back what age and chemo took away.
