The treatments / Body

the rest of you.

Nobody wants to get old. I mean, we want to get old. We don’t want to die, but we don’t want to look old.

Body contour, skin texture and looseness are different concerns. The options below include Kybella, radiofrequency treatments and Sculptra for the body.

A closer look

SkinTyte.
How it feels.

SkinTyte feels like sunshine on the beach. It’s warm.

Kybella

An injection that dissolves the fat under the chin, for the double chin that is fat and not skin. Several rounds, a week or two of swelling each. When the skin will not snap back, liposuction or a neck lift instead — I will tell you which.

Morpheus8 Body

The deeper tips of the same radiofrequency microneedling I use on the face: the belly after babies, the arms, the knees, the neck and chest. Tightening and texture from underneath, in a series.

FlexSure

Radiofrequency wrapped around the arm, the belly, the flank or the thigh — heat that tightens the skin and smooths the dimpling while you lie there. No needles, no downtime.

SkinTyte and TempSure

Infrared and radiofrequency heat for loose skin without surgery: the neck, the chest, the arms, above the knee. Under thirty minutes, no downtime, a series of three to five.

Sculptra for the body

The same cotton candy collagen I put in faces, diluted and placed where the skin has gone thin and crepey: the arms, above the knees, the chest, the buttocks and the hip dips. Nothing to see for weeks; then your own collagen, and it holds for a year or two. A series, like the face.

Intimate wellness

ThermiVa and TempSure Vitalia: gentle radiofrequency for laxity, dryness and the leaking that comes after babies and menopause. No pain, no downtime. The conversation happens in the room, not on this page.

A few questions.

The things people ask.

Does any of this hurt?
Kybella burns for a few minutes and swells for a week. The radiofrequency treatments feel like a hot stone. Nitrous is here for anything you would rather not feel.
Unfortunately, if you want your skin to look better, anything really to look better, I’m afraid it has to hurt. Even if it’s a great dress, if you can breathe in, it probably doesn’t look as good.
Can loose skin be tightened without surgery?
Some. Mild looseness responds to Morpheus8, SkinTyte and TempSure over a series. Skin that has let go needs a lift, and I will say so before you spend a series finding out.
How many treatments?
Kybella: two to four rounds. Morpheus8 and the heat treatments: three to five, a month apart, then one a year. Sculptra for the body: two or three sessions, a month or two apart.
