Lower eyelid filler is the most complicated of all.
Some say it should never be done—okay…
It must be done slowly—carefully & incredibly thoughtfully.
And it can still cause problems.
But when done well and safely it can truly change how you feel about everything.
If dark circles & hollowness are bringing you down, find one human you trust & never stray.
Loyalty to an educated, safe injector & typically to one brand can make all the difference.

Hollowing, pigment, thin skin, puffiness and bags can contribute to a dark under-eye appearance. They are not interchangeable diagnoses. A treatment should follow the cause, rather than the word “tired.”
Filler can help selected hollowing; it does not treat every dark circle and may be unsuitable when swelling is a concern. Skin treatment or surgery may be a different conversation.

- The Game Plan:
Identify what creates the darkness first. Discuss under-eye filler only if the hollowing and your medical history make it a reasonable option. Eyelid surgery addresses a different set of concerns.
- The Recovery Reality:
Numbing options are discussed before treatment. Swelling, bruising and tenderness can last days to weeks. Filler can also cause serious complications, including blocked blood vessels; choosing a qualified injector does not make the risk zero.
- The Timeline:
Duration depends on the filler, area and your response. Swelling can obscure the early result, so the follow-up matters as much as the treatment day.
- The Bottom Line:
The product, amount and total price are discussed before anything is opened. An old promotion is not a current quote. If the plan includes more than one visit, the cost of the whole plan is part of that conversation.

Will filler under my eyes look puffy?
Swelling can occur soon after treatment or appear later with inflammation. A puffy appearance does not prove overfilling. The timing and an examination help distinguish the possibilities. [2]
Is it a hollow or a bag?
A hollow, bag, swelling and pigment can overlap. A mirror test alone cannot diagnose the cause. An examination helps distinguish them before discussing treatment.
How long does under-eye filler last?
Duration varies with the material and treatment area. [2] Ask about the exact product in your plan. A maintenance date should prompt reassessment, not an automatic repeat treatment.
Can I fix the color without needles?
That depends on the cause. Skin care or selected device treatments may help some pigment or vessel concerns; neither is right for every dark circle. The area requires particular care.
Will I bruise?
Swelling, bruising and tenderness can last days to weeks. Discuss numbing options, your health history and the possible complications before treatment. Severe or unusual pain, skin-color changes or vision changes need urgent assessment.
